maybe this helps someone searching: I've been looking forever to find a modern arcade racer that comes close to what I remember from my childhood when playing this and the only thing I've been able to find was: Horizon chase turbo

Most underrated soundtrack that I know of, of anything ever.

this game is incredible, the gameplay is simple but very addictive. It's like modern session shooters: many weapons to choose, different ships, cool graphics and (most importantly) physics

В 1998 году я не стал играть в TFTD. Меня оттолкнула ужасающая цветовая гамма интерфейса и игры в целом. В первой части палитра была великолепна. Издатель стремился к прибыли, и быстро сделали вторую часть. Я думаю это больше дополнение, чем вторая часть. Да и к самому игровому процессу тут много претензий. ИМХО

Перезарядка любого оружия из любой ячейки стоит 15 очков действия.

Короткое прохождение. Спасибо за прохождение. Я играю наоборот. Тяну время. Качаю бойцов до упора. А что Марс? Да взять его можно легко и быстро и очень рано. Для меня это не цель игры. Цель, это наслаждение от самого игрового процесса. Привет из Севастополя. PS Извини что пишу не на английском. Мне 63 года. В школе я учил немецкий, да и тот забыл.

It's 2024 and I'm still playing megapede.

This is up there with Total Annihilation and Privateer.. Privateer had that moment where the guy shoots the pirate because pirates are expensive. And he's on a budget. Total Annihilation had awesome music.

Played it as a kid in the 90s. Didn't know a word of english. Played only against myself to find all death animations. Never won a singel game against the pc. Good times.

watching this intro again, I'm amazed by how much it borrowed from Terminator 2 and Robocop. I remember thinking at the time that the graphics were so good - particularly the explosion effects and burning bodies - highly impressive at the time. Noticing that they have an explosion on the cover - a real selling point:) Also - back then they would require the player to remember a code - something unthinkable today!

С "Dark side of Xeen" я познакомился с серией игр ММ в 1997г. Потом играл в 4-ю, а затем и в 3-ю.

Not very good Pang clone: - some of the background graphics hurt my eyes - the hit detection between the player and bubbles is terrible - no music

I just bought this game on a CD-ROM for 10 bucks. Now I just need to set up dosbox and get it to run. And yes, I still have an optical drive. 😄 Hopefully one day I can build a retro PC and play it on that.

I love this game. The mechanics for maintaining a thriving hell and heaven is actually rather complex. Much of the text is hilarious to read and the music was on the next level.

Man, I'm getting old, i'm 28 years old and i remember when i was 5 years old when i used yo play on Windows 98, running some commands on ms dos to install this great game. Maybe i still remember the commands on dos to run this game, was a long time ago.

This is an absolute hailmary pass but does anyone know how fast the celatids in this replicated? They were lil floating creatures that would land and spit corrosive poison at your guys. I am trying with no avail to find my answers online thus far XD.
